A Short Piece About PEACE (The Girl With Eyes So Rare).

Hello Femi's Blog Readers, I know this is coming very late, it was due to unavoidable reasons, I was at work, I didn't have "very much" info and the rest, but let's make do with this short experience, chat I had with the Photographer, the one who took the photo everyone is talking about.


So I said I'd post a write-up about Peace (Yh, that's Her Name), the girl with eyes full of many names, Some people call her "The Girl With Multicolored Eyeballs", others call Her "The Girl with Eyes Full of Curiosity", most recently i heard someone call her "The Girl with Rainbow Eyes" etc,etc..   

As i mentioned earlier, I didn't get much info about Her, Basically, her parents were not "responsive", according to the photographer (You'd know her soon), they weren't supportive and all (its understandable though). 

So here's a quick Profile of The photographer, Her Name is Abimbola Balogun (also her FB Handle)

HOW SHE MET PEACE

On that day, she(Abimbola) wanted to buy vegetable (Ugwu) at the popular Mile 12 market, market stress was so much that day, she couldn't wait to leave the market, when something caught her attention, She saw Peace's eyes, she'd never seen anything like it before, she knew it was rare and she asked if she could take some pictures, Apparently, Peace's mom was the Ugwu Seller.

Peace's mom was not receptive, she didn't want a stranger to take pictures of her daughter, Abimbola pushed for a chance of a photo shoot but Peace's mom couldn't be moved, Abimbola returned home (sad of course).

Abimbola went back the next day to try to convince Peace's mom to take some photos, She finally agreed, Hence these beautiful photos..

After the picture was uploaded on the internet, it instantly became viral, the photos has since been circulated on blogs and websites in Nigeria like Nairaland, Yabaleft, Netng, AYComedian Page, etc.

People commented that Her Eyes were indeed something rare, others said she was a witch (imagine people o😒😒😢), some said she shouldn't be celebrated that she had eye defect...

So whether or not it is an infection or a rare gift from God, we don't know for sure because Peace's Parents are reluctant to share info, but personally, I think Her eyes are beautiful.

Incase, we receive more info about Peace and her eyes, I'd be glad to share it, it all depends on Peace's Parents now lol..
