The Kaduna State Polytechnic has matriculated 8,228 successful students out of the over 50,000 applicants who sought for admission into the institution.
Addressing the matriculating students, the Acting Rector of the institution, Dr. Catherine Eveh Uloko reminded the students to consider themselves as being fortunate to be admitted into the institution among the over 50,000 students that applied.
“As new students of Kaduna Polytechnic, it is important that you should put academic and moral standards first, aim to graduate with good grades, remain focused from today on your vision if you want to make meaningful progress in this institution.
“It is your level of commitment to your academic work that will determine the level of your performance in all your examinations. I therefore urge you not to allow any peer-group influence to distract your attention from your academic work, such influences can be counter-productive.” Represented by the director, college of administrative studies and social sciences, Dr Rosemary Kato,   the acting Rector assured the students of the management’s commitment to applying available limited funds towards the  growth and development of the campus, provision of services and the maintenance of an aesthetically appealing and soothing environment
